I am excited to have been chosen as one of the judges for the Crossville,Inc 
"Common Thread for the Cure Scarf Competition".  If I weren't a judge
I would surely be submitting a design for this worthy competition!  
Enter today!  You might be the big winner!  Cancer has affected someone
you know so why not join the fight against cancer by using your talents to
enter this project!  It's going to be so much fun to see all the cool designs!

If you are a designer, and want to Enter the Competition, You have three more days to enter! Deadline is March 30th!  Here are the details:

Crossville, Inc. has long been a proud sponsor and active supporter of The Common Thread for the Cure. The Common Thread unites the interior design community, including companies like Crossville, to offer practical support to those in our industry who are battling breast cancer. Through Helping Hands grants, we help struggling colleagues and their families address real needs that arise in the face of the disease.
Breast Cancer patients receive support and inspiration from many special sources. Be a source of healing and encouragement for many when you submit your BCA scarf design to Crossville, Inc.’s biennial Common Thread for the Cure Scarf Competition.

Unique for 2016:

Crossville will feature two winning designs and, in doing so, will more than double our support of The Common Thread. One design will be chosen by our panel of professional design judges and one will be chosen by popular vote. We will share details on when and how to vote prior to April 14th so you can share with others and encourage them to vote for your design. Not only will this help you gain votes for your design but will spread the word and bolster support for this great cause.

Join the Competition:

1.Create your unique scarf design using the 25″ x 60″ Template the (PDFJPEG)Templates may be downloaded and opened in design software including MS Paint, Adobe Illustrator, or Photoshop or printed and drawn by hand and scanned.
2.Include Crossville Mountain imagery in your design. (PDFJPEGIllustrator)
3.Submit your design in digital format (PDF, AI, and PSD are preferred)
4.Provide a 300-500 design statement with your submission to convey the concept and inspiration behind your creation.
5.Download, print, sign Crossville, Inc.’s Design Use Waiver form and submit with your design. (PDF)
6.Submit design and supporting documents via e-mail by March 31, 2016 to mjensen@crossvilleinc.com.Or physical mail to Crossville Inc. Attn: Mikeal Jensen, 346 Sweeney Dr, Crossville, TN 38555

Prizes:

Winners receive a scarf featuring their design, a Crossville, Inc. prize pack valued at $200, and a $3,500 tax deductible donation to The Common Thread for the Cure foundation will be made in each winner’s name.

Contest schedule:

  • Designs due to Crossville: March 30th
  • Online voting: April 14-3oth
  • Winners announced: May 16th
  • Design Unveiling and Donation Ceremony: October

Winning Scarf Designs

Winning scarves can be purchased from Crossville, Inc. after the design unveiling in October and proceeds are donated to The Common Thread.

Competition Rules

All designs must be original. Crossville reserves the right to adjust designs for proper sizing and formatting for final production.
